SPORTS DIGEST 🏆
Shrewsbury Town Football Club
Shrewsbury vs Lincoln (1-0)
Shrewsbury secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory at home against Lincoln, thanks to Morgan Feeney’s early goal from a corner routine.
Lincoln threatened throughout the match, with Dom Jefferies and Bailey Cadamarteri coming close to equalising, but Shrewsbury held firm.
Despite a missed penalty by John Marquis late in the game, Shrewsbury hung on for just their fourth home win of the season.
Shrewsbury vs Northampton (Today)
Shrewsbury will be looking to extend their winning streak against Northampton Town, having already completed a league double over them last season. A win today would mark three consecutive victories over Northampton, a feat Shrewsbury hasn’t achieved since 2011.
