Shrewsbury Town Football Club ⚽
Shrewsbury 0 - 0 Bromley
Shrewsbury Town's League Two campaign began with a goalless draw against Bromley at Croud Meadow. Despite creating several promising chances, Town couldn’t find a breakthrough in their return to the fourth tier.
John Marquis and Anthony Scully both came close in the first half, while Luca Hoole remained a standout throughout, providing key runs and deliveries from the flank.
Bromley posed a threat on the counter, with Corey Whitely testing Toby Savin from distance.
The second half saw more pressure from the home side, but finishing proved wasteful, and Bromley’s keeper Grant Smith remained largely untroubled. A solid, if frustrating, start for Shrewsbury.
