Bear Steps Gallery Features Katherine Soutar's Folklore Art
Bear Steps Gallery continues to showcase exceptional talent with Katherine Soutar's captivating exhibition in the Balcony & Link Room, running alongside Tricia Crowther's vibrant abstracts.
Katherine brings ancient folklore and mythology to life through layered watercolours and intricate ink drawings. As cover artist for The History Press Folk Tales series, her work transforms pencil and paint into mythical worlds where stories leap from the page.
The exhibition runs until 16th August in the Balcony & Link Room at Bear Steps Gallery, Shrewsbury.

Tranmere Rovers secured their first League Two victory of the season with a dominant 4-0 win over Shrewsbury Town at Prenton Park.
Goals from Taylan Harris and Josh Davison put the hosts in control within 22 minutes. Shrewsbury's hopes faded when Will Boyle was dismissed for a second yellow card, before late strikes from Omari Patrick and Kristian Dennis completed the rout.
